If you are looking for a club to end the night just right, then you may want to stop in at Picante. The dance floor is much, much smaller but when the end of the evening rolls around you will find this place packed with all walks of life.
May might be the best time to visit if youre looking for gay-friendly cultural events. May is the month of Cancun's annual International Gay Festival; this event has been held for 5 years now and draws a large crowd.
If you'd rather get away from the cold and visit Cancun in the winter, then the annual Cancun Riviera Maya Gay Fall Festival held in November is definitely worth checking out. Of course, this is Cancun were talking about here; so no matter what time of year you choose to visit, there is no shortage of sightseeing and activities to entertain any tourist, gay or straight.
One thing your trip to Cancun just isn't complete without is a visit to the Mayan ruins located just outside of the city. This is a truly spectacular sight to see " and yes, you will kick yourself if you miss out on this attraction. With world class nightlife, cultural events and always plenty to see along with Mexicos hottest beaches, there's no doubt about it " Cancun is Mexico's most popular gay friendly vacation spot.
